Lost Things is Out!

Lost Things is out! Barnes & Noble has gone ahead and put it up for sale early, though it's going to be a featured selection beginning next week. But it's for sale now!

Lost Things is at Barnes & Noble!

It does not have copy protection on it, so if you have another kind of e reader or prefer to read on your computer, it can be changed to other formats easily with free programs like Calibre. Or if you prefer paperback, the trade paperback is available for preorder.

I am so excited! And what a deluge of riches! I have two books out the same day, The Furies and Lost Things!

And once you've read either one, come tell me what you think! I can't wait to hear from you!

No, you don't need to read anything else. It's the same universe, but the OCLT books take place in the present, seventy years later. So no, just the same world!

BOTHER. So B&N requires a billing address in the US to purchase.

Oh bother. I didn't realize that. Well, Crossroad doesn't. As soon as B&N's exclusive period is over they'll have the ebook as well as the paperback preorder. I'm sorry!

I guess I'll just read it on my trip to Edinburgh rather than summer holidays, then ;) Or preorder hardcopy from Crossroads and leave it with a certain someone, even. She loved Black Ships, she should like this as well.

Do you have a PayPal account? I can buy you a copy through B&N as a gift if you'll pay me back through PayPal.

At least, I think that'll work -- I'd be happy to try!

Thank you for the offer, but I've been actually looking for a gift for my Good Twin, so Crossroads it is :)

You mean for the paperback preorder at Crossroad? They charge you when they ship. So it will be August 1.

winner is: The Furies.....A. Because I can read it outside on my kindle and B. Hubs is in Pittsburgh on business for the next three days and doesn't know I bought it.....this = no stealing of MY book. :) lol. I'm terribly excited about both.

Heh! That's probably the right order, though I warn you that The Furies ends on a cliffhanger! Lost Things is longer and does tie the story up. It's the first of a series, but each book is a separate adventure.

so just like a TV end of season SGA, then, huh? ;) We loathed those cliffhangers. Having watched it from the beginning it would seem like years before a new ep would come on. lol.

I bought The Furies yesterday morning, read it all day (I was actually at work too!)and finished last night and yes, it does end on a cliffhanger!
