It is with enormous pleasure that I can announce that the second and third books about Elza, The Emperor's Agent and The Marshal's Lover, are being acquired by Crossroad Press! Yes, that's a title change for the second one from The Emperor's Companion to The Emperor's Agent, as it's a lot clearer.
I cannot tell you how excited I am that the next two Elza books will be published! The Emperor's Agent will be out later this year -- I don't have a date yet. They will be available in trade paperback, ebook, and audiobook. Please join me on Elza's continuing adventures!
The Emperor's Agent
Jo Graham
Courtesan, actress, medium -- spy.
Elza is content with her life in the demi-monde, in the glittering society of France's First Empire. But when her former lover is arrested for treason, Elza is blackmailed into informing on her friends and associates in a deadly game in which there are ultimately no winners. She has one alternative -- to become the agent of the most feared man in Europe, Napoleon Bonaparte!
From the theaters of Paris to the camps of the Grand Army, from the ballrooms and bedrooms to battlefields corporeal and astral, Elza must rely on her wits, her courage, her beauty, and her growing talents as a medium to survive -- and to triumph!

Also, I think the last two chapters of The Emperor's Agent are hands down the best thing I've ever written!
On a related note, I read in your Q&A at the end of The General's Mistress that you had had to cut lots of text to fit it into the publisher's limit. Is there a possibility for an "author's preferred version" later, if they will release the rights to you?
It's a really fun book. I think you'll like it.
