May Monthly Update

It's a cool and rainy beginning to May here, but so much is going on!

Firstly, The Inheritors is out in paperback at stargatenovels.com! If you were waiting to buy a paper copy, go get one! It's a good and fitting ending, and I hope you think so too.

The next Numinous World book, The Emperor's Agent, is through copy edits and we're on covers and cover blurbs. It's looking like it will be out in July. I truly can't wait. I know I always feel this way, but I think it's my best book yet. There is no one like Elza.

Silver Bullet, the third book in the Order of the Air, is in final revisions for its fall release date. When a series of mysterious plane crashes happen in the Rockies, Lewis and Mitch are called out as reservists to fly search and rescue. But three crashes in the same area in a very short time, all near the old Silver Bullet Mine, which is reputed to be haunted? It can't be coincidence. Meanwhile, Jerry has made a discovery which is putting him in the crosshairs -- against a foe who will stop at nothing to control a fantastic archaeological prize -- a map to the lost tomb of Alexander the Great.

After that, there's the third Elza book, The Marshal's Lover. I've finished my rewrite of the chapters in the middle of the book that needed it, and so it will probably be out next spring.

Melissa and I are currently working on Wind Raker, the fourth Order of the Air book. The team is going to Hawaii! Again, that book will be early next year.

Also right now I'm working on Cythera, an erotic science fiction novel that I don't have a publisher for yet. I'm about halfway done. So we'll see how that goes.

It's the season for planting seeds for future harvests. See me plant like crazy!

Wow. Given how erotic the Numinous World books are, or so I am finding them, Cythera must be really quite something... I hope you find a publisher soon!

It's definitely something! :) Melissa's read it so far, and she said it does in science fiction what Kushiel's Dart does in fantasy, which is high praise! I just hope it finds a publisher.

Really enjoyed The Inheritors
Just wanted to let you know that I've enjoyed all your Stargate books, and I hope you write more! :-)

Re: Really enjoyed The Inheritors
Thank you! Right now we're waiting to see if MGM renews the licensing agreement. If so, there will probably be more. If not -- :(

Re: Really enjoyed The Inheritors
I'm crossing my fingers!

I'm currently reading Moebius Squared (read Inheritors first because I couldn't wait to find out how the story ended!).

Great story too; I'm reading it really slowly (a chapter or part of a chapter a night) to keep the story going because when I'm done reading it, that's it!

Thank you again, Jo. :-)

Re: Really enjoyed The Inheritors
I'm so glad you're enjoying Moebius Squared. It was a fun one to do, and it definitely ties in to the continuity of the Legacy series. The epilogue to Moebius Squared actually goes during Homecoming, while Atlantis is on Earth.

I finally finished the book. I really enjoyed it! Thank you. :-)

I really hope MGM decides to continue with the books!
