I can see the ticky boxes in my inbox but when I come to your journal I am asked to sign in and I can't see the ticky boxes?

Huh. I have no idea! LJ is weird sometimes.

It's a really close tie between Secrets and The Inheritors. I'm a huge sucker for lore, and the amount of Wraith lore that's included in either book makes it hard to pick an absolute favorite.

I love writing the lore parts! I'm glad somebody enjoyed them as much as I do -- some people said that they made the book too slow. But I'm glad you liked it! Thanks!

I think the lore - all of the lore, not just the Wraith lore - gave the whole galaxy a sense of gravity that it didn't quite have in the show, even if the Wraith got the lion's share of it. It gave them a sense of purpose and belonging, rather than just being a hungry swarm of alien vampires. They have motivations beyond acting on instinct and animal needs. And they have a sense of who they are beyond the galaxy's apex predator.

But even though they benefited the most, there were some things that didn't click in my mind until it was explained in the books. Like the Athosians being a post-apocalyptic society, flirting with extinction every time there's a minor galactic upset. They got shoved off to the side early on in the show, so I'd never really paused to consider how careful they have to be to survive.

I'm really happy that worked! The Athosians are really on that edge, which is why they take in the humans with the Gift. They simply can't afford to turn people away. They can't afford to be isolationist, or they'll die out.

I was torn between Moebius and Homecoming, but I went with the SG-1 book because SG-1 is my jam. ;D But I love the whole Legacy series!

It is your jam! :) And there's a lot of Sam all the way through everything.

Exactly! And wow... I'm torn between feeling left out and like a unique little flower. ;D Although if not for me, MS wouldn't have any votes! And that would not be good. :D

No, MS needs a vote! :)

Gonna go out on a limb here and say Death Game. There's just something about the camaraderie between Ronan and Radek that I adore in this book. I love them all, but R and R win it for me.....

That was so much fun to write! The Ronon and Radek show is unexpected and really works!

You really expect me to pick ONE of the Legacy books. Yeah right. It's like selecting your favorite child... I think the Furies has the scenes on Sateda with Teyla and the problem Genii, Sora. You take what revenge you can! It was really fun to get a glimpse of the trading that goes on. What does Atlantis have to offer that would be of value to people in the Pegasus Galaxy? There were some surprising answers.

I think The Furies is my favorite too, though it's so hard to pick. Generally speaking my favorite book is the one I'm currently working on!
