Cythera and the Lammies

I'm delighted to announce that Cythera is a nominee for the 26th Annual Lambda Literary Awards in the category Bisexual Fiction! If you haven't read Cythera yet, here's one more incentive to!

Cythera is space opera, classic sci-fi with starships and mysterious planets and strange cultures and all the rest of the trimmings -- with one big difference. The main character is a bisexual woman whose vocation is pleasure. If you were fascinated by Zaan on Farscape or Inara on Firefly, if you wanted to see a character like that explored further -- give Cythera a try.

Congrats! I picked it up because I also thought of the scifi women you mentioned. It is an accurate comparison-- sensuality and also some action and decision-making.
