A roundup of questions

Time for a roundup of questions! I've divided them out by series.

Stargate

A reader asks, "Hello, Have you heard when the next book in this series is supposed to be out? I have read all of the Stargate Atlantis Legacy books including Unascended. Looking foward to the next book in this series. Thank you."

The next Legacy book, The Third Path, is turned in to MGM for their edits. I'm guessing it will be several weeks before we get it back from them. My best estimate for when it will be out is late July or early August, given how quickly things usually move. So not long!

A reader asks, "Is this the last Legacy book?"

Probably. I can't say for certain that there won't be another, but this one wraps up the plot and is intended to be an ending. So no cliffhangers this time! The Third Path concludes the story arc.

A reader asks, "Are you going to be at Shore Leave again this year?"

Sadly, I will not be. However my coauthors Melissa Scott and Amy Griswold will both be at Shore Leave! It's a wonderful con and I hope to come next year.

But I will be at Creation Con Stargate: the Final Journey Part II in Chicago August 14-16! I've never been to a Creation Con before, and I'm really looking forward to it! (Not to mention to Amanda Tapping, Joe Flanigan, Ben Browder and Michael Shanks!)

A reader asks, "Will we ever find out what happened to Stasi's baby girl, the one she gave up?"

Yes. Melissa and I know where she is and what's happening to her, and we intend for her to turn up later on. Her name is Anna, and she may be a viewpoint character eventually.

A reader says, "I like Willi but I'm scared for him."

You should be. Willi is in a very, very precarious situation.

A reader asks, "When is the next book out and whats it about?"

The next book is Oath Bound and it should be out in November! I am so excited because Jerry is going to Egypt! YES! I wrote Alexandria, and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it! Oath Bound is about Jerry's dig in Alexandria, finally getting to follow the trail of the Ptolemaic medallion he discovered in Silver Bullet. Meanwhile, the team is showing the Catalina at an international air show in Palermo, where all is not what it seems. When Iskinder shows up in Alexandria in terrible danger, he can rely on his friends -- even if that means a perilous flight into the middle of a war! There are several scenes I'm really excited about -- the Soma, and the first time we get to see Lewis and Mitch in a dogfight. (It won't be the last!)

A reader asks, "Will there be another Numinous World book?"

Yes. I'm hoping to finish up The Marshal's Lover soon, and at some point there will be another ancient world book. I'd love to work on another ancient world book, but I have no contract on that and so I can't make that a priority, unfortunately. I would love to be able to work on Lioness or Sacred Queen.

Alas, I won't be in Chicago until a week later! It would have been lovely to see you again!

*hugs* Hope you enjoy the con, and I'm looking forward to Oath Bound, and someday getting to read Lioness and Sacred Queen.
