Yes, tick ones you're reading now. And I'm glad you're reading the Legacy series. I know how it is with piles of unread books. I'm guessing Hand of Isis would be your cup of tea, what with the canon OT3....

Yes, in any order. Chronologically they go Black Ships, Stealing Fire, Hand of Isis, but they're written to be read in any order.

I'd bought Black Ships and Stealing Fire based on word of mouth but they were languishing on the to-read bookcase. I love Melissa Scott's books so I bought Homecoming. I thought I should read some of your books first and ripped through all 3 quickly. I'm on the fence about tv show-related novels. I'd rather have original works by an author, but will take what I can get!

I was a fan of Melissa's books long, long before I met her, so it was such a pleasure to work with her. We're also trying to sell an original historical fantasy/occult thriller called Lost Things, so hopefully there will be that soon as well! And I hope you enjoy Black Ships and Stealing Fire.

I finally have time to finish reading Death Game and Homecoming. I have started reading each book. And then on to Lost.

I haven't had a chance to pick up the currently available Legacy books or Death Game, but I definitely intend too, after I've got a bit of an idea of the source matterial. So, that's where the discrepancy between what I've read and intend to read comes from *g*

For the record, Avengers looks fantastic from the previews; somehow, I think Teyla is going to be my overall favorite of the series, followed closely by Tod.

I hope you enjoy them! I think you'll like Teyla. She's my favorite, though I love the whole cast. And John has a bit of Lydias in him....

Just finished The Lost. Y'all are killing me with the cliff hanger endings. Loved it.

I've got Black Ships and Stealing Fire somewhere. We just moved and I haven't gotten all the books unpacked yet.

Thank you! I'm so glad you loved it! We do love cliff hangers, and this was a fun one to write.

I hope you enjoy Black Ships and Stealing Fire!

have read Homecoming and The Lost and will read Death Game soon, but first I have to finish some Star Wars books. there are still 20-30 of those waiting to be read, so right now I'm spending my time between Stargate and Star Wars books :D ok, yes, I'm a geek

Which Star Wars books are you reading? I loved some of the early ones in the series but I've gotten behind lately.

well right now I'm reading the New Jedi Order books but as long as there's "Star Wars" in the title, I buy it! have a whole bunch of old and new books.
but there are so many SW books published every year that it's hard to be up to date.

Have read Death Game and Homecoming in books and The Lost on kindle. Forgot to tick The Avengers! but I plan to read all the legacy books. Might read Moebius Squared -undecided there. I'm interested in your other books now having caught snippets here, but having got a kindle would prefer to read on that. I see Hand of Isis is available for download but Black ships isn't.

Black Ships is! Amazon just doesn't have it linked right. It's here: http://www.amazon.com/Black-Ships-ebook/dp/B0010SKU06/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2&s=digital-text&qid=1302871789&sr=8-2

I'm glad you're interested in the other books. If you like the way I write Teyla, you'd probably like Black Ships. If you like the way I write John, you'd probably like Stealing Fire. Oh I hope you enjoy them!

I may get back to the Legacy series eventually. I need to work past my impatience with the Wraith. I don't know what it is about them, but those guys just annoy me, even in prose form!

We've been having a fascinating time with the Wraith. It's really interesting what can be done with them!

I've read Black Ships, and Hand of Isis, and would love to read Stealing Fire, but according to Orbit/Little, Brown they have no plans to release it in the UK. I suppose I could buy the US publication, but it still doesn't seem right. :(

Yes, as far as I know there are no plans to release Stealing Fire in the UK. The US edition is what there is! I wish they had too....
