Moebius Squared and Allegiance

Moebius Squared is now turned in to Sally at Fandemonium! Melissa and I are very pleased with how it came out -- a fun, lighthearted adventure with an undercurrent of serious plot. It's more Sam's book than I think it started out to be, but that makes sense. Moebius Squared takes place between Continuum and the SGA episode Enemy at the Gate, in other words between where Sam is in Continuum and when she has command of the George Hammond but the ship hasn't launched yet. It's a pivotal point in that this is when she's finally leaving SG-1 for good, when things are changing and evolving in ways that they've been going for ten years. It's a really interesting point!

Allegiance is still at MGM. We have not heard anything further. Again, the delay is not content related at all, but is a delay because of MGM's personnel changes as they emerge from bankruptcy. As soon as I have any idea what the release date will be I'll let you know. From the time they sign off until publication is about four weeks, given the logistics of printing and shipping.

Ok, nice to hear about Moebius Squared.

It is sad to hear that we still have to wait for Allegiance but I guess that is ok. :'(. Please continue to keep us posted on when it will be released or when it is back from MGM.

Well... what do they do with the book? What's their problem? *unpatiently hopping up and down*

Sry... *sigh* ...I'm just a bit too curious, I guess :/

As you may know, MGM is emerging from bankruptcy. My understanding is that someone had left a key position and that until there was a new person in the job and they were up to speed that things were stalled. It's the kind of thing that happens! I'll let people know as we have news.

I think that type of thing happens alot with different corporations. :(
Then everyone else has to deal with the changes that get created, like having to wait for something like a book that you're unpatiently waiting for.
