Will there be more Atlantis books?

A reader asks, "Is this it? Is The Inheritors the end? Will there be more Atlantis books?"

I don't know. The Inheritors is the last one scheduled before the licensing agreement with MGM comes up for renewal. I do not know what MGM will do. I would be happy to do another Stargate Atlantis book if the license is renewed, but I don't have any control over that or any input into the decision.

I haven't finished reading all of the Legacy books thus far yet, but I do have one question.

You've said in earlier posts that the Legacy series takes place over the course of approximately one year after Enemy at the Gate. Based on what we know of the chronology of the franchise, that would be roughly 2009-2010. This also happens to be the same span of time in which the entirety of Stargate Universe took place.

My question is, when does the appearance of McKay and Woolsey in the Stargate Universe episode Seizure take place in chronological relation to the Legacy series? Does that episode take place after the entire Legacy series?

I've been loving the Legacy series so far and can't wait to read The Inheritors!

Re: Seizure
Yes, you're right that it does! Seizure is about four months after The Inheritors.

I'm glad you're looking forward to The Inheritors and I hope you enjoy it!

Hope they renew
I'd love to see some of your ideas on ancient Atlantis vs the Wraith come to life. Could even be a modern Atlantis crew tie-in with some quirky temporary time-travel accident. Ol' Rodney could interview all the elitist Ancient snobs he wanted to. All that would deign to talk to him, that is.
Funny, I've come to view the Ancients as the bad guys now, with all their experiments and even their actions post-ascension. Seems the only good ones are exiled or dead!

One of the ideas I'm playing with is a time travel book involving the Wraith! So we are on the same wavelength. We've talked a bit about the idea, tentatively called "A Blade of Atlantis".

Re: Hope they renew
The possibilities are endless - and endlessly fascinating. So much of the city is either unexplored or water damaged that anything could pop up at any time: ZPM lab, drone armory, or another Janus stash involving time travel.

Wouldn't Rodney be thrilled to find himself suddenly in a lab confronted by Janus thousands of years earlier? Moros and the others of the Council obviously couldn't be told, they were pretty fed up with his dabbling already. A little comic relief as they have to sneak around?

Like I said, anything is possible, and you do a great job of bringing that to life.
